Celtic Folk Ensemble Acoustic Medicine

Acoustic Medicine is a quartet offering a rich blend of traditional music which ranges form Celtic, and Irish to folk and roots music all prepared in highly innovative arrangements.

Hammer Dulcimer and Lead Vocal: John Yankee the artistic director of the Telluride Choral Society. Yankee attended Yale and Peabody conservatories and graduated with a masters degree in music. Formerly toured with Cross Country.

Flute: Laura Lake a physical therapist who majored in music and was drawn into and influenced by the folk contra dance scene in New England.

Bass: Doc David Homer who played as a student in chamber and jazz settings in the Chicago area.

Guitar & Mandolin: David Lamb  is a former Durango resident who is a woodworker by trade and currently owns and operates Telluride Music Company.

Performing: Sheridan Opera House in Telluride Sat. March 9th at 7pm and Durango Art Center Sun.March 10th, 4pm Tickets $10
