The Air Garden Terrain Park is where the Old West meets the New School. Skiers and riders alike continue to push the sport into new heights, both literally and figuratively.

Groomed by the Pipe Dragon, the Air Garden Terrain Park is the largest park in the Southwest, offering over 30 acres of terrain. Here you'll find berms, banks, jumps, and tabletops, as well as a 12-foot competition-size halfpipe. Telluride also utilizes the concept of a "Rail Garden," adding a touch of California flavor to the park. The sliding rails, popular in California snow and skateboard parks but not widely seen at Colorado resorts, create an exciting and fresh addition to the Air Garden.

Plus, launching pads are spread throughout, making Telluride an air hog's paradise. If you're ready to ride, this is the place.

Riders from around the world have realized this firsthand. In fact, Telluride was the site of the '98 and '99 USASA National Snowboard Championships and the '99 ISF Junior World Snowboard Championships.

The Telluride Ski Resort (Telski) announced new ski area lift products for the 2004-2005 season. For the first time ever, Telski is offering transferable lift tickets! Now family, friends and colleagues can purchase and share lift tickets through the Transferable Five Pack, five lift tickets for $275 ($55 per ticket) with no blackout dates. This is a 26% savings off the window rate. Kid’s six to 12 years old get a great deal this year with the new $69 season pass and no blackout dates. The adult Limitless Lesson Pass for $149 allows skiers and boarders of all abilities the opportunity to improve, improve, improve with unlimited lessons all season long (some date restrictions apply).

“For the first time Telluride Ski Resort is offering vacationers a wide range of awesome deals,” said Pete Woods, vice president of marketing and sales for Telski. “The Telluride happy family package is perfect...Pop tunes up his snowboarding skills with unlimited lessons, Mom hands out the transferable lift tickets and little Mikey skis Telluride all season for only 69 bucks.”  All tickets must be purchased seven days in advance at any ticket window or online.
