Priest Lake
Eight miles south of Telluride on Hwy 145 are
groomed trails ranging from 5 to 10 km. The trails are narrow and are best
suited for classic nordic skiing.

Open fairways mark the 6 km of intermediate trails
on the scenic Telluride Golf Course in the Mountain Village. Access these
rolling hills from the Wyndham Peaks Resort or other points in the
Mountain Village.

3 km. of circuit track in and out of the trees or
connect with the San Miguel River Trail which runs two miles along town.
Group lessons are available daily at 11 am at the Nordic Center in Town

Trout
Lake & Lizard Head Pass
Follow the old railroad grade around Trout Lake.
It's steady incline will take you up to Lizard Head Pass.
